15 Minute Mini-Consult
Curious about what therapy with us would be like? We offer a free 15-minute meet-and-greet session with your potential therapist. This mini-consultation is a great opportunity to get a sense of your therapist's style and approach, ask any questions you might have, and see if it feels like a good fit for you. It's all about making sure you feel comfortable and confident as you embark on your journey toward better mental health.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING
Individual counselling is tailored to the specific needs of the individual. You identify the needs that will dictate the treatment plan, which could evolve the course of therapy. Whether you're struggling with grief, trauma, anxiety, experiencing depression or career dissatisfaction, or simply seeking to improve your general outlook, individual counselling can provide some form of healing.
We work with you to identify healthy strategies to move forward and address any unhealthy behavioural patterns you may or may not be aware of, with the goal of helping you grow as an individual.
Individual therapy is different from talking with a friend or family about your personal problems. While loved ones may offer advice, they're rarely objective and aren't trained to evaluate various elements of trauma and pain. And unlike friends and family, a therapist is bound by an agreement. This can help you feel safe during your counselling session, so you can build a trusting relationship with your therapist while you figure out who you are and what you want in your life.
RELATIONSHIP COUNSELLING
If you are having difficulties in an intimate relationship and efforts to resolve them with your partner aren’t working, couples counselling is an option worth considering. Couples therapists are specially trained to help couples talk through difficulties and disagreements that can arise in relationships. Therapy works best when both partners feel safe in the room, without judgment and bias. We will work with you and your partner to find “space” where both of you feel able to speak openly, and where you can work toward hearing the other person’s point of view without getting triggered. Ideally, with the our help, you will find some common ground and end up in a stronger position to move forward together in your relationship.

Benefits Coverage:
Our services are often covered by health insurance. We collect payment at the time of your appointment and provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance provider.
Payment Policy
We accept Interac e-Transfer, Mastercard, or Visa. Payment is due after the completion of each session.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens, but we require 48 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations with less than 24 notice will be subject to 50% of the full session rate and no-shows are subject to a fee of the full session rate.
